Monthly ESP Leadership Communique'
March 21, 2008

Good Morning, Chapter Leadership,
Linda Cook, ESP Executive Director

Happy Springtime! The calendar says that it is spring even though it may not feel like it in your part of the country. We are sending wishes that you are experiencing small indicators of spring. You will note a new name for our monthly communication. The JCEP meeting in San Diego attendees asked for a clearer distinction between the monthly communication to chapter leadership and the ESP Connection newsletter which goes to everyone. Let us know what you think. As always, we encourage you to share this information with anyone in your chapter who needs to know including committee chairs and the general membership. Thank you for all you do for ESP. It could not happen without you working at the chapter level. Happy Easter!

National Committee Appointments and Re-Appointments Due April 1,
submitted by Sandy Corridon, National Second Vice President

Serving on a National ESP Committee provides ESP members with a wonderful opportunity to get involved at the National level. ESP Committee Membership provides members with an outstanding opportunity to learn more about their professional organization; it is a great way to serve their professional organization; and it is a great way to meet people who share a common belief in excellence and professionalism.

Current members of any National ESP Committee must submit a Committee Reappointment Nomination Form if they wish to continue serving on that committee. And people wishing to apply to a committee for the first time must complete the Committee Appointment Nomination Form. Both Committee Appointment Nomination Forms can be found on the ESP Web site at http://espnational.org. Both Committee Appointment Nomination Forms are to be submitted via electronic mail by April 1, 2008. All Committee Appointment Nomination Forms are to be sent to me, Sandy Corridon at corridon@umd.edu.
