2001 Ruby Award Speech

1. Go to this web site http://eit-stream.tamu.edu once you have been to the site a cookie is now in your browser so you can go to the page that you want under recorded meetings. You can now hit the back button and go to step 2.
2. Select one of the following, depending on available media player and bandwidth available:
High speed connection-RealPlayer: "Ruby Award Presentation"
High speed connection-Windows Media Player: "Ruby Award Presentation"
Low speed connection-Real Player: "Ruby Award Presentation Modem Speed"
Low speed connection-Windows Media Player: "Ruby Award Presentation Modem Speed"
If you don't have Real Player or Windows Media Player just press one of the icons below and download it.
    
3. After you have typed in your name in the "Your Name box" and leave the "Password box" blank--press the view button at the bottom of the page.

NOTE: The media player should start and the media stream should begin buffering. The show will start with the Polycom stack of triangles. Then, the system will show some additional buffering of the video stream. Once the buffering reaching 100%, the video and sound should go into action. The presentation is approximately 31 minutes long. If you need to stop the presentation or pause it, place the mouse cursor over the picture on the computer and right click. This will bring up a menu from which you can select which option you want.
