Epsilon Sigma Phi Server

The original server was set up in April 1997 to serve as a centralized website for the Epsilon Sigma Phi Chapters across the nation. It's goal is to have the ESP homepage for every state chapter and the national chapter housed at one site for easy access.

The first server was a 66 mhz 486 computer using a Linux operating system. The webserver software being used is WN. This website was designed by Dr. Billy Warrick and set-up by Monty McDougal (many thanks to Linux Guru Paul Sittler). The ESP server leeches its connectivity from half of a T1 line.

On October 10, 2000 a new web server was put online, it is a 500 mhz 586 computer using a Linux operating system. The webserver software being used is Apache. This website was designed by Dr. Billy Warrick and set-up by Linux Guru Paul Sittler. The ESP server leeches its connectivity from half of a T1 line.

On August 30, 2001 the national ESP page moved to a web hosting service at http://www.burlee.com. This web host provided the opportunity for the new name http://espnational.org . The server hosting the site is running NT and should provide our members with continued dependable service.

If you would like to link your state chapter to the National ESP page, or have any questions or comments about the server then please direct them to Dr. Billy Warrick.
